Single vineyard, estate grown and bottled wines from Patagonia

We make our wines exclusively with grapes from our own little vineyard, a 15 acre parcel that we planted more than 2 decades ago.

Kilómetro 1120 Malbec Reserva

Vintage 2022

Grapes: 100% MalbecABV:  13.7 % vol.%Appelation: Patagonia ArgentinaTotal batch: 4000 bottlesWinemaking: Saignée of approximately 10%. Pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature for 3 days, with 3 daily pump-overs. Fermentation: with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature between 26º and 28º C. Full malolactic fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel tank for 8 months, half of that time with french oak stavesTasting notes: Intense ruby red color, with flashes of purple and magentapurple and magenta towards the edges of the glass.Blackberry and plum aromas. Notes of white chocolate and vanilla.Good balance between the softness of the tannins and acidity.

Fermentation: with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature between 26º and 28º C. Full malolactic fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel tank for 8 months.Tasting notes: Violet colour, with magenta rims.Aroma of marked fruity character: plums, cherries and peaches. Floral and spicy notes with a leathery finish.Medium acidity well balanced with the soft tannins.

Dolzó white

Vintage 2023

Grapes: 20% Sauvignon Blanc, 80% Serna (A.k.a CG 102.354, a table grape variety developed in Argentina. Crossbreeding of Moscatel Rosado Nº 2 x (Cardinal x Sultanina)). 
ABV: 12.0 %
Residual sugar: 32.32 g/l
Appelation: Patagonia Argentina
Total batch: 4000 bottles
Winemaking: After the destemming process, we press the handpicked grapes with an 100 years old manual press. The juice is settled during 24 hours at low temperature in a stainless steel tank. We keep the wine at low temperatures to keep the natural sugar of the grapes.
Tasting notes:
Bright and limpid, with a sutil yellow and green hue.
Floral and fruity aromas.
Very good combination of sweetness and acidity.

Fermentation: with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature between 26º and 28º C. Full malolactic fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel tank for 8 months.Tasting notes: Light garnet red.Aromas of sweet plum, spices and green chili.Rounded tannins and a smooth finish.

Grapes: 100% Cabernet FrancABV:  14.1%Appelation: Patagonia ArgentinaTotal batch: 2600 bottlesWinemaking: . Pre-fermentative maceration at 10° C for 3 days, with 3 daily pump-overs. Fermentation: with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature between 26º and 28º C. Full malolactic fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel tank for 8 months.Tasting notes: Burgundy red, medium brightness. Aromas of red fruits with earthy and mineral notes, also eucalyptus. 
Llively and round on the palate, with correct balance and medium sensation of astringency.

Dolzó Rosé Dulce Natural

Cosecha 2023

Grapes: 100% Malbec
ABV: 10.8%
Residual sugar: 50.18 g/l
Appelation: Patagonia Argentina
Total batch: 1400 bottles
Winemaking information: It’s a saignee rosé wine. After the destemming process, the grapes are sent directly into the stainless steel tank. We let the skins rest with the juice for approximately 1 hour. The process then is almost the same of the white wines.
Tasting notes:
Shiny and clear, with a very subtle pinkish gleam.
Aromas of plum and red fruit jam.
Unctuous balance between sweetness and acidity.
